The Opportunity
We are seeking an outstanding Business Development Manager with a proven ability to identify and onboard brand-new clients for our Parts division.
Based in Huntingwood, this role focuses on strengthening existing customer relationships in the Parts sector while actively identifying new opportunities for growth. You'll play a key role in expanding business by nurturing current partnerships and uncovering fresh avenues for customer engagement.
Your day will involve:
- Prospect for new clients by networking, advertising, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new relationships
- Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and Parts offered to clients
- Develop a robust pipeline of sales
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing and negotiating contracts
- Screen potential business deals by analysing deal requirements and financials
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, and distribution channels
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in a Sales role ideally within the trucking industry
- Excellent business sense, negotiation skills, time management and communication skills
- Proven experience identifying and onboarding new clients
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proficient computer skills including strong knowledge of Excel
- Current Australian Drivers License and own vehicle
