**Transport Supervisor**
- Temp to perm role paying $35 per hour
- Management of approx. 15 people in Geebung
- Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm (hours can vary depending on business needs)

**About Us**

Located in Geebung, our client is market leader supplying transport services for several window and door business across Australia. Currently we are seeking a Transport Supervisor to oversee and organise runs for a team of 15.

The successful person will ideally have experience in the window transport industry however anyone with strong Transport Management/Team leader experience will be considered. This role is a “hands on position” where you will lead by example and be a great team player.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Supervise and lead a team of drivers and despatch workers
- Schedule deliveries in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Accurately update and maintain daily paperwork and documentation
- Ensure all safety procedures are follow in line with SOP’s
- Ensure effective vehicle utilization and manpower
- Supervise and assist in the consolidation and loading of freight
- Maintain and build relationship work with internal and external customers
- Computer experience in the use of Microsoft Excel is essential

**Experience & Qualification**
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience working within the transport industry
- The ability to provide leadership and guidance to staff
