Warehouse Supervisor - Lytton

The Role
- Toll Group are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Resources and Industrials division based in Lytton. You will play an essential role in creating a high-performing, positive, and safety-obsessed team culture. As the Warehouse Supervisor you will direct, co-ordinate, supervise and achieve service objectives regarding the storage and cartage of dangerous goods products.

The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner with agreed standards in operational procedures including strong emphasis on safety requirements. Be responsible for the regular communications with drivers and stakeholders, compliance and managing staff to ensure business objectives are achieved in a safe and cost-effective way.

Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of the Operations Supervisor
- Effective Management of Warehouse and Terminal Operations Teams ensuring KPI’s are met and safety upheld.- Effective consultation and coordination with all stakeholders (Local and Interstate Transport and Customer Service) relating to effective service and delivery of all Toll Chemical Customer requirements.- Management of DG segregation and Compliance for Warehouse and Transport activities.- Compliance within Warehouse & Terminal for all required legislative requirements i.e. CoR, Load Restraint, DG storage & transport, fatigue management.- Ensure that all equipment and ancillary equipment is in operating condition.- Actively participate in the roll-out of toolbox meetings and other communications to workers and contractors.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Supervisor experience in transport, logistics or related industry.- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.- Ability to build and maintain engaged and productive teams.- Warehouse and / or Transport knowledge including Chain of Responsibility.- Proficient computer skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
