**Your new company**
Major Queensland energy network provider operating in an industry that is undergoing transformation with new technologies underpinning that change, including increased renewables and alternative power generation assets. With an increase in internal project work the team is looking to engage a InEight Technical Specialist to join the team.
**Your new role**
In your new role you will be delivering world-class engineering processes to support the rapidly expanding capital works program. You will be focusing on two steams of work, common data environment and 3D Design tools in order to transform the business and optimize infrastructure delivery and ongoing design, construction and commissioning of infrastructure projects. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design and configure InEight to meet our business requirements and long term Digital Engineering goals.
- Design and configure workflows, forms, and other system capabilities to ensure that InEight is optimized for the clients needs.
- Implement integrations with other common tool sets such as engineering authoring tool sets to enhance the functionality of InEight.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of InEight across the organisation.
- Provide industry best practice recommendations in regard to the use of InEight
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful you should be a specialist in the InEight suite and have experience as an Admin type capacity (Configuring and maintaining the solution) as well as a strong understanding of Document Control functions, Digital Engineering and BIM (Building Information Modelling) ways of working. You will also ideally have the following:
- Strong understanding of InEight modules, including Documentation, Field Execution, Safety Quality & Commissioning, Virtual Design and Construction, and Connected Analytics.
- Proven experience in configuring and implementing workflows, forms, and other system capabilities in InEight.
- Experience in configuring integrations with other common tool sets such as engineering authoring tool sets.
- Knowledge of typical Engineering tools found in the high voltage electricity transmission industry and their integration with InEight.
