**What you’ll do**:
As one of our Design Engineers within our National Tunnels and Tunnel Systems team, you will be joining an award-winning Geotechnical and Tunnels division, leveraging more than 150 years of combined expert experience, in an environment where you are encouraged to continue to learn and further grow your career.

We are looking for Tunnel Designers with underground construction design experience, who will not only be excited by a challenging role at a forward-thinking company, but light up at exciting opportunities to be part of projects that will continue to stimulate as you continue to grow your career with us.

**_ A typical day for you would look like (but not be limited to):_**
- Providing technical design advice on complex Tunneling issues to clients and internal staff whilst delivering best practice consulting services
- Using advanced techniques, modifications and extension of theories, practices to synthesise and analyse data for decision making/ recommendations
- Building a reputation as an expert Design Consultant. Participate in industry groups as part of maintaining high industry profile
- Cultivating existing and new client relationships plus undertake proactive business development activities
- Keeping your finger on the pulse and being in the know of advancing technologies, methods and research & development
- Preparing tenders, proposals and reports for clients
- Guiding, participating and supporting stakeholder engagement activities

**About You**:

- You can demonstrate your experience as a Tunnel Design engineer, and have solid knowledge of Mined and TBM methods of construction
- Hold tertiary qualifications in civil engineering
- Be a Chartered Engineer, or working towards being so
- Possess a successful track record in undertaking and managing small to large size projects
- Have a proven track record of promoting innovation in the field of Civil engineering to create value for clients/ projects
- Have demonstrated experience in the preparation / review of written technical reports and client communications
- Possess a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Have the ability to take responsibility for Tunnel design delivery in multidisciplinary environment
