Structural Engineer - Bridge Design Leader

This is an opportunity to lead a team of structural engineers in the design of bridges and transport structures.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bridge design projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with various teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership and direction on design activities associated with transport structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, gantries, and tunnels
  • Developing design criteria, calculations, plans, and specifications for bridge design projects
  • Serving as a Proof Engineer in Victoria and leading teams executing proof engineering services
  • Managing the development of structural asset management deliverables including reports, drawings, models, and specifications

The successful candidate will be a Chartered member of Engineers Australia (Structures) and listed on the National Engineering Register, with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in structural and asset management software tools such as Midas Civil, SpaceGass, Strand 7, SBD, and Microsoft Office suite.
