Contract (project duration) role, potential for on-going engagement
- focus on formation & administration of material & labour supply contracts
- Active role delivering a key upgrade project in a live landmark road tunnel

Tier 1 engineering services contractor supplying operations and maintenance (O&M) and design & construction (D&C) services nationally to the infrastructure and utility sectors. They have an immediate requiremement for a competent Contract Manager to support delivery a key road tunnel project in Melbourne. You will play a key role in implementing upgraded lighting technology in a live road tunnel that will contribute to streamlining traffic flows in the Melbourne road network.

Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager you will:
FINANCIAL & COMMERCIAL
- Ensure the relevant Contracts achieve stated financial and operational objectives
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial forecasts
- Responsible for ensuring sub-contractor payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Responsible for ensuring Client Invoicing is processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure monthly reporting is completed in line with Client and Management requirements

OPERATIONAL
- Ensure all contractual KPI’s are met
- Planning and co-ordinating all daily tasks associated with the scheduling, approval, validation and completion of work orders to ensure efficient flow of work
- Develop positive client relationships and act as key point of contact
- Attending customer meetings, keeping copies of agendas and minutes. Ensure action items expected of the company contained in those minutes are adhered to.
- Managing operational internal issues including building relationships with internal clients to ensure issues are promptly rectified and meet the projects requirements (i.e. IT and Logistics)
- Promote a systematic approach to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Issues and adhere to all HSE Policies & Procedures

To succeed in this role, you need:

- Contract management experience associated with an engineering construction, installation or related project.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship & communication in an an operational / site construction environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or a related discipline.

You are a dedicated, detail oriented and systems oriented individual with solid problem solving capability and competence in using MS Office and financial reporting / budgeting systems.

Whilst on-going employment is not guaranteed, the company has a srong pipeline of projects that will likely lead to on-going assignments or permanent employment.

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
