**My Heath Record Section**:
Opportunities are available to join a dynamic and innovative team that plays a key role in modernising primary care through better use of My Health Record (MHR). Improving MHR and related digital health technologies aims to empower consumers to participate in their own healthcare, support healthcare providers deliver high quality care and drive insights in national planning, resourcing, and continuous quality improvement.
As a policy and project officer you will lead evidence-based policy development and implement policy and regulatory changes that significantly increase the health information available in MHR to individuals and their health care professionals while ensuring fundamental privacy protections are maintained. In this role you will establish collaborative relationships with delivery partners, including the Australian Digital Health Agency, and a broad range of key stakeholders across the health sector, consumers and state and territory health departments. You will manage APS staff and promote a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement.
**Digital Health Strategy Section**:
Opportunities are available to join a fast paced and dynamic team that plays a key role in the strategic alignment of key national digital health policy initiatives, including policy development for national health information exchange capabilities, future digital health policy investments and budget strategy and the continued modernisation of the Governments digital health ecosystem.
As a policy and project officer you will be responsible for aiding in the development of future Commonwealth digital health policy and a digital health investment strategy, providing strategic oversight, coordination and general support for a number of digital health governance committees and partnership forums across key government agencies including the Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency). We also support the management of the Department’s strategic relationship with the Agency.
