Department of Health and Aged Care is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Diversity and Inclusion Officer to join our Indigenous, Diversity & Inclusion team

This Business Operations officer role supports the Inclusion Framework and supports our Departmental Networks, in general but also specifically as the Network adviser for the Gender Equality (GEN) Network. This position is like that of an advisory role and requires strong people skills and organisational skills. As a Business Operations Officer, you will advise, support and foster relationships with members of staff from both the Networks and those who identify as having a diverse background/s to enable everyone in our diverse workforce to bring their whole selves to work, as well as promoting and increasing awareness around fostering an inclusive workplace. You will also assist the Inclusion team with administrative and Ad-hoc tasks.

This role is supported by a highly capable and encouraging team that boasts years of experience and lived experience, in driving initiatives for an inclusive workplace, across all diversity dimensions.
