Government agency looking for a Project Contract Administration Officer to assist with capital works projects.

**Your new company**

Our client is a business unit within the Queensland Government who work across a range of new build, maintenance, and capital works projects. Due to a peak in workload and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to add a Project Contract Administration Officer to their Department to assist with their various building projects.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for providing quality project and contract administration, including the creation of work orders and maintenance documents, cost monitoring reporting and documentation for project budgets. Additionally, you will review system data to identify issues and assist with program reporting for internal and external project stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the of delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade work, specifically regarding project and contract management. Therefore, you will ideally come from a background in construction project management, with a relevant discipline in this field. You will be proficient in producing project documentation such as contracts, budgets, and maintenance work orders. As part of your role will include tender and documentation you will need a good understanding of Microsoft products in order to prepare documents and reports.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered an immediate start with an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying $52.25 per hour + super, located in either Cannon Hill or Brisbane CBD. You will also have the potential opportunity to work from home.
