Finance Business Partner

**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager - QInsure Finance, you will be a trusted Finance Business partner delivering financial advice and support to a number of business units. You will drive the monthly analysis on operating performance and trend analysis, including recommendations on improved efficiency, effectiveness and performance. At times, you will also play a role in providing end to end corporate finance support across the team.

You will also be part of the team leading the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts including providing management insightful commentary and analysis. By maintaining a customer focus throughout all services, you will create, maintain and enhance the relationships with key stakeholders ensuring that information flows are accurate, and knowledge is gained within the finance area.

Day to day, you'll:

- Provide monthly reporting and budget variance analysis to management
- Perform high level analytical and detailed analysis on operating financial performance
- Provide financial analysis support to various business units, and preparation of board level submissions
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including providing management insightful commentary and analysis
- Provide end to end corporate finance support across the team

This role is available as a **permanent/ full-time opportunity.**

You'll have the flexibility to work from home, provided you can attend the office at least twice a week.

- Successfully monitored financial performance and delivered monthly reports within tight timeframes
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing financial analyses and board-level submissions
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple and competing activities efficiently
- Ensured compliance with legislative, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies
- Assisted in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and statutory financial reporting for large/complex organizations
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at the senior level
- Hold a CA/CPA qualification
- Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
