**About the VGSO**
The Victorian Government Solicitor's Office (VGSO) serves the rule of law exclusively for the State.

**About the team and role**
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor with strong in-house experience to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team within the People & Culture branch.

Your responsibilities will include:

- **End-to-End Recruitment**: Lead recruitment for roles ranging from administrative support to senior legal positions, including our Graduate and Seasonal Clerkship programs
- **Partnering for Success**:Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide guidance on recruitment best practices
- **Process Management**: Manage the full recruitment process, including job ads, screening, interviews, reference checks, salary negotiations and offers
- **Effective Communication**:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while managing expectations
- **Employer Branding**: Contribute to employer branding initiatives to promote VGSO as an employer of choice
- **Continuous Improvement**: Evaluate and improve recruitment strategies and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in attracting top talent

**Skills and experience**
- Proven in-house recruitment experience managing end-to-end processes
- Strong track record in delivering best practice recruitment while navigating policies, enterprise agreements and compliance standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Excellent relationship-building, particularly with hiring managers
- Ability to managing multiple priorities and roles simultaneously
- Strong focus on continuous improvement with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in high-volume student recruitment is highly valued
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
