Reporting to the Manager Enterprise Risk Management our client is seeking a contractor to assist in providing business expertise and advice on the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of an integrated enterprise risk management framework.
This role involves leading the implementation of an integrated enterprise risk management strategy and driving the embedding of the agency's Enterprise Risk Management Framework into day-to-day work practices that advocate for a positive risk culture. Providing advice on identifying opportunities for improvement relating to the risk management framework for various risk categories, including key activities and reporting will enable the Audit & Risk Department to provide technical advice, expertise and produce high-quality reports to key stakeholders. This will assist in driving innovation that contributes to the agency's risk maturity and increased risk awareness through tailored risk management training, risk communications, and risk methodologies.
You will advise on delivering meaningful risk assessments to assist the Risk Owner/Risk Champions develop a compelling risk mitigation strategy and deliver risk assessments for business functions. You will provide strategic advice on the interpretation, pathway and delivery of identified risks and their mitigation plans. You will review the agency's insurance policy schedules and ensure there is adequate level of coverage to meet organisational needs and identify opportunities to reduce premium levels or improve the level/effectiveness of insurance coverage.
