We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow, and deliver better outcomes for members. **Your new role** Reporting to the Senior Manager, Governance & Enablement - Operational Risk & Control, your new role enables and supports the delivery of first line risk reporting and analysis and risk-based value-add activities, such as deep-dive reviews, across the end-to-end risk and control environment managed and overseen by the Operational Risk & Control team (OR&C) across the Fund Services Domain (excluding Technology Services). Key duties include but are not limited to: - Support the production of risk reporting for the relevant Board and its Committees. - Facilitate the Fund Services Incident Review Group (IRG), including preparation of the agenda and reporting, facilitation of meetings, recording of decisions made by the IRG in the GRC, regular review of the Charter, and support to the IRG Chair where necessary. - Lead reporting and dashboard activity for senior management, advisory groups, and Group Risk. - Facilitate root cause and ageing analysis across the end-to-end risk and control environment to identify systemic issues, control weaknesses or risk culture weaknesses, including the analysis of where improvements are needed. - Coordinate risk-based value-add activities to address issues identified from analysis, such as deep-dive reviews, with OR&C risk partners and / or other stakeholders as appropriate, with consideration of the risk and control plan for the Domain and other priorities. - Enable and manage complete and consistent data and reporting, including ensuring that data is consistently inputted into the Fund’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system and used by OR&C risk partners, and that all dashboards and reporting produced by the OR&C team adheres to a minimum consistent standard. - Liaise and partner with Group Risk, other first line risk teams, Risk Platforms team and other stakeholders on changes to the Fund’s risk framework and / or GRC system that impacts the Domain and contribute to practical design. - Support the Senior Manager, as needed, in activities related to the ongoing enablement and management of the Operational Risk & Control plan across Fund Services (excluding Technology Services). **What you’ll need** - Relevant Tertiary and Industry qualifications and accreditations; B.Com, B. Fin or equivalent gained in Australia or overseas (post-graduate qualifications are also desirable) - Experience guide (> 7 years post graduate experience in Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, Internal or External Audit, Business Analyst) - An understanding of prudential or markets regulations with respect to risk management and investment governance experience will be drawn from either first, second or third line of defence risk management functions from within major financial institutions, custodians, superannuation funds or an insurance office (specific investment functional exposure is an added benefit) - Exposure to or experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and/or Financial Management systems - Exposure to or experience with advanced data analysis and report-building tools, such as Power BI - Strong analytical skills, organizational and planning skills with a high attention to detail - Strong written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives, and issues to senior management. - Strong engagement skills that reflect a professional, collegiate, and engaging approach to risk management **What next** AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching, and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
