Metal Fabricator for steel mould fabrication shop. Principle skills, experience, duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
At least 8 years experience as a welder.
Have a great eye for detail and accuracy.
Work well in a high performing team.

Reading and interpreting shop drawings.
Preparation of metal stock, performing measurements, manual and gas arc welding.
Bending and modelling metal parts and carry out mechanical cutting using hand tools and machine tools.
Analysing welds and linking metal parts using different welding methods.
Levelling and cleaning welds and using acidic solution to complete the products.
Liaison with other members of the team including factory supervisors to assist with the efficient operation of the business.
Dealing with junior staff, reviewing their output, provide training and advice where necessary.
General fabrication duties and co-ordination with other employees and management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- CAROLE PARK, QLD 4300: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
