MJK Fabricators are industry leaders in designing and delivering top-shelf Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) services, from fabrication and construction to refurbishment, modification and maintenance of on-site structures and plant.

We specialise in turnkey, on-site solutions for structural steel, pipework and processing components, and pride ourselves on precision, efficiency, work ethic and completing the job correctly the first time.

Safety and credibility are integral to our everyday operation. Our fully qualified team has extensive experience in heavy metal construction and maintenance, backed by a commitment to client satisfaction and clear communication.

**With our workshop in Carole Park and site work all over Brisbane, we're looking for Boilermakers with strong fabrication skills to join our team.**

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Self-driven pride in the quality, safety & timely delivery of your work;
- Positive approach to delivering results, whether you're being directly supervised or not;
- A great person to have on the team; and,
- Previous experience in SMP installation & maintenance as an extra bonus point.
- Interpreting Engineering Drawings: _Understanding drawings to determine the layout and assembly of metal structures;_
- Metal Cutting and Shaping: _Using tools to cut, shape and form metal pieces as per specifications._
- Welding and Assembly: _Joining metal sections using various welding techniques._
- Quality Controls: _Ensuring the structural integrity and quality of fabricated products through testing and inspection._
- Maintenance and Repair: _Performing repair work on metal structures, including dismantling and reassembling._
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Be Qualified to 1554.1
- Be able to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening
- Have a current Trade Certificate or extensive work experience
- Have a construction White Card
- Have a current Manual Drivers license and own transport

**Salary**: $31.68 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
