**The Role**
Joint Logistics Command (JLC) are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual for the role of APS6 Workforce Planning Officer to become a valuable addition to the team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting the Command. In this role, you will undertake workforce Planning activities.

The JLC Workforce team have team members in Newcastle NSW, Central Coast NSW and Campbell Park, ACT.

The Workforce Planning Officer will contribute to the JLC Mission through their strong focus on knowledge and capability development. The key responsibilities are:

- Assist with the design, implementation, and communication of JLC Workforce Plans and Instructions, including developing a workforce model that optimises the balance between various labour sources including APS, ADF and Contractors across operational locations:

- Manage and plan resourcing/recruitment (APS staff, ADF reserves and contractors) activities to meet specific strategic goals.
- Develop and implement succession and retention plans for the JLC Workforce;
- Support and provide advice to staff in relation to workforce matters including policy research and working with HR Services.
- Assist with strategic planning activities particularly in relation to the cultural development of staff in conjunction with agreed values and behaviours.
- Manage the HR audit and reporting program including the monthly performance report and analysing and distributing survey results.
