**About the team**:
The Ministerial and Executive Enabling Branch provides a range of support and assistance to the Executive and our Ministers. This includes the planning and reporting framework required under relevant legislation, parliamentary and Cabinet support, governance support, internal audit, enterprise risk management and fraud and corruption control. It is at the heart of the department and enables Ministers, the Executive and broader department to achieve outcomes.
The Planning and Reporting team sits within this branch and plays an important role in ensuring that the department fulfils its obligations under the _Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013_ (PGPA Act) in relation to the Corporate Plan, Commonwealth Performance Framework and the Annual Report.
We collaborate across our department’s divisions and work closely with our senior executive and internal and external stakeholders to:
- deliver our reporting framework, performance measures and processes
- provide assurance for the Annual Performance Statements
- oversee the departments’ divisional business planning process
- deliver the Corporate Plan and Annual Report.

**What you will do**:
- the corporate plan
- business plans
- quarterly performance statements and commitment reporting
- the annual report - including the annual performance statements
- the performance information in the portfolio budget statements.
- Your work will include:_
- project planning for the corporate plan, annual report, etc
- helping lead the continuous improvement and reform of the department’s performance framework, performance measures, processes and deliverables - this will include producing advice for our executive on best practice approaches
- working with all divisions across the department to manage performance information input and develop our departmental narrative for planning and reporting documents
- preparing briefing papers for the department’s Executive Board and committees
- preparing briefing papers for our ministers on our planning and reporting products
- proactively managing progress of coordination and significant documents you are responsible for, identifying and escalating emerging issues early.
