Join our Telecommunications People and Culture team in an exciting new opportunity as an Industry Engagement and Training Manager.
About the Role

Service Stream’s Telecommunications People and Culture division are currently seeking an Industry Engagement and Training Manager to join our growing company.

This role will be responsible for managing the engagement of Telecommunications Divisions Supply Partners and Internal Workforce (IWF) to develop and implement engagement/ training programs.

You will work closely with various stakeholders inclusive of; clients, government entities, & registered training authorities to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that align with the company's objectives and the needs of the industry.

This role will also be responsible for identifying and building partnerships with organisations that can contribute to the Telecommunications Division’s strategic goals.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Collins Street, Melbourne

Reporting Line: General Manager - People & Culture - Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy for Supply Partners & IWF
- Design and deliver training programs that address the needs of the industry and align with the Telecommunications Division’s objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the engagement of apprenticeships, First Nations procurement and engagement and returned services veterans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current training programs and make necessary changes to improve outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Registered Training Organisations
- Work in conjunction with Telecommunication’s clients IE&T departments
- Conduct research to identify industry trends and best practices in training and engagement
- Work with the marketing team to promote training programs and engagement opportunities
- Manage the budget for training and engagement activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in training and development
- Familiarity with industry trends and issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
- Proven experience in a training or engagement role in a corporate or not for profit organisation
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field advantageous.
