Afternoon shift - $52 per hour, plus Super. There is plenty of OT to take up

**Must have Australian Trade Certifications - Mechanical Fitter / Boiler Maker**

- Good analytical skills.
- Computer literacy: MSWord, Excel, Internet explorer
- Ability to trouble shoot faults on equipment with high standard diagnostic skills
- Machining/welding experience (Able to produce/repair a part when required)
- Teamwork & team player - working closely with other trades as an integral part of a close knit team
- Good understanding of Preventative maintenance systems
- Ability to work on high speed lines under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate continually the required job competencies in line with training and experience.
- Have a motivated, self-driven, pro-active approach to their work.
- Extremely energetic and enthusiastic person.
- Self starter with a strong results orientation.
- Active listening skills.
- Lateral thinker / value adding.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at all levels of an organisation (internally & externally).
- A Strong networking base and demonstrated ability to:

- Develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally, and at all levels.
- Understand and interpret needs
- Understand end to end requirements.

The Role**:Afternoon shift**

**(With a recent change in staffing, two more positions have become available - 1 x Day shift and 1 x Flex shift (fitter open for working afternoon/night shift)mechanical fitter. We are urgently looking to fill this position, different hourly rates apply*. )**
- To maintain machinery, equipment and services on site so as to achieve optimum production and customer service.
- To follow safe work practices at all times and follow company policies and procedures at all time.
- To timely advise the Engineering & Maintenance Manager of any areas which need addressing and are beyond the scope of this role.
- Machine maintenance including all plant equipment
- Planned maintenance
- Disassemble, assess, repair and reassemble machines
- Liaising and working closely with the production team
