**Mechanical Fitter**

**Onsite Based**

Our client is located in Thomastown; they are an industry leader in electrical, automation and mechanical services. They are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to increase their workforce for various onsite work. Occasional afternoon shift work may be required at an additional hourly rate.

**This position is being offered on a Contract Hourly Rate of $50 Per Hour normal time + Super and overtime + $27 Per Day Travel Allowance with the view of going Full Time after a 26 Week Placement with TRS Resourcing.**

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Service, repair, and maintain various equipment, including but not limited to automated machinery, conveyors and more.
- Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Hold a mechanical aptitude

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:

- Reference contact details of two past employers
- Based in Melbourne, Victoria
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Trade qualification
- Own Hand Tools (Specialist tools supplied)
