**About Us**

**About the role**
We are currently seeking an experienced Power Technician Primary (Electricians/Electrical Fitters) to join our high-performing maintenance team based out of our Thomastown depot.
In this role, you will be part of a team working across the Ausnet transmission and distribution network within terminal and sub stations.
**Key Responsibilities include**
- Maintaining high voltage equipment, providing preventative maintenance, fault response &/ repair of equipment in the field
- Working on a range of circuit brakers, transformers, isolators, earth switches, Air/oil/SF6 insulated gear that’s hydraulic/motor/hand operated. Voltage ranging from 500kV to 22kV
**About You**
- Oil processing, operating and SF6 handling experience
- Competent in using field mobility devices, PCs including Microsoft Suite and ideally SAP
- Enjoy physical work in an outdoor environment
- A collaborative approach and ability to work to set timelines, whilst maintaining a strong safety culture
- Cert III Electrical Fitter/Electrical Mechanic/Electrician; White/Blue card; Current Australian Drivers Licence and EWP _(highly desirable)_
