**Mechanical Fitter**

**Day, Afternoon or Night Shifts**

Located in the workshop in Thomastown, you'll work with an industry leader in packaging and sustainability. They seek a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a forklift license (ideally) to increase their workforce.

This position is offered at a Contract Hourly Rate of $55.00 Per Hour (Day shift), $63.25 per hour (afternoon shift) or $71.50 per hour (night shift) + $27 Per Day Travel Allowance. This role is six months temp to perm, with the view of long-term employment. Immediate start is available Due to the nature of this role, you may be asked to work day, afternoon or night shifts in the future or work onsite.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Service, repair, and maintain various equipment, including but not limited to automated machinery, conveyors and more.
- Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Able to drive a basic forklift (Ideally)
- Hold a mechanical aptitude
