Good Measure is looking for a cafe service manager

Good Measure is a neighbourhood cafe & bar that first opened it's doors at the dawn of lockdown freedom in October 2021.

Since opening, Good Measure has been embraced lovingly by the community, not only for our signature creation - the Mont Blanc, but for our friendly, relaxed neighbourhood vibe.

The warm ambiance is set by warm lighting, lots of wood, indoor plants, vintage furniture and two record players spinning vinyl from open to close.
- A genuine desire to serve & engage with the community
- The ability to cultivate and uphold a positive & safe environment for guests and staff alike
- Faciliate learning, growth and personal development for staff aspiring to higher standards
- Swift decision making in moments of crisis
- Attention to detail in regards to cleanliness, the flow of service & product quality standards

Responsibilities of the role include
- Managing service - guest complaints, running staff breaks, in charge of staff wellbeing, upholding product standards, vibe control
- Stock management - paper goods, coffee ordering
- Venue tidiness & organisation
- Point of contact to owner team - the ability to communicate effectively the ins & outs of daily service to higher management

Experience in a similar role is essential. We are ideally looking for someone with the intention to grow and sustain for the long term with a career in hospitality.
