Position: Venue Manager

**Salary**: $80,000 per annum
Location: 193 Lygon Street, Carlton, Melbourne

About Good Measure: Good Measure is a warm, timber-clad café and bar that feels like the kind of versatile neighbourhood haunt you’d find in Japan. Look for the signage with a magpie, just a short walk from Argyle Square, and you’ll find house plants and comfy vintage furniture strewn about the space. By day, it’s all about sandos and coffee, along with our Instagrammable signature: the Mont Blanc, a Code Black filter brew that’s lightly sweetened, topped with cream, fresh grated nutmeg, and orange zest. Once the sun sets, the vinyl starts spinning and the venue transforms into a cosy cocktail bar with a killer house cocktail list, Guinness on tap, and Victorian wines and beers to go with night-time snacks like kimchi fries and a Japanese-style chicken sando.

What We Offer:

- Competitive Salary: Start with a probationary period at $75,000 for the first 4 weeks of training, then enjoy an annual salary of $80,000.
- Work-Life Balance: 40-45 hours per week, with 1 dedicated admin day and 4 days of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Stock Management: Ensure that the bar and café are always well-stocked with the highest quality products.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage staff to maintain a high standard of service.
- Roster Management: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Business Growth: Collaborate with the owners to implement strategies for business growth and improvement.
- Administrative Duties: Handle timesheets and other administrative tasks to keep the venue running smoothly.
