St Michael’s Grammar School is seeking a compassionate and capable Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis to cover a parental leave position within the Senior School. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that supports our students.

**About the Role**

Working under the guidance of qualified teachers and the Head of Learning Services, you will:

- Provide in-class support to students across a range of year levels and learning needs.
- Assist in the implementation of learning programs and classroom activities.
- Offer general administrative and organisational support to teaching staff.
- Contribute to the wellbeing of students and the smooth operation of the School.
- Undertake general housekeeping and supervision duties as required.

**About You**

You will have:

- Post-secondary qualifications in Education Support, Integration Aide, Teacher’s Aide, or a related field (e.g. Certificate III in Language and Literacy Aide).
- Tertiary qualifications in teaching (Early Childhood, Primary, or Secondary) are highly regarded but not essential.
- Current Anaphylaxis Management training.
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- A current Level II First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- A National Police History Check (issued within the last six months).
