An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to undertake the role of Program Manager - Athena Swan for the next 12 months. This role provides planning, strategic research, analysis and high-level administrative support in managing the University’s Athena Swan accreditation portfolio, as well as overseeing the outcomes required to achieve ECU’s Athena Swan Silver Award Action Plan and progress the Athena Swan Gold Award pathway. This role may also be required to assist with other initiatives, organisational accreditations, and internal and external partnership work if and when they arise.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of ECU’s policies and practices, who is willing and able to support the Athena Swan Program as well as provide input into a range of other strategic activities being undertaken by the Office of the DVC (Regional Futures).
To be successful in the role you must be enthusiastic, well organised and capable of developing briefing papers and other high-level documents in support of the Athena Swan program objectives. You must be a great communicator and be able to build and maintain relationships across ECU as well as with external stakeholder given the scope of this initiative in the ECU community.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $115,042pa - $129,573pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
