The diverse and talented staff in the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) play a central role in achieving ECU's vision, and in designing and implementing future-oriented teaching and learning strategies. With its base at the Joondalup Campus, the CLT delivers a comprehensive suite of services and programmes on campus and online that promotes high quality learning and teaching outcomes for students and academic staff. The Role
The CLT is seeking an Industry Programs and Curriculum Advisor to lead a diverse range of student employability initiatives associated with the needs of internal and external stakeholders. They will be highly organised, with demonstrated experience in student internship programs, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The role will work across the entire Employability Team, leading implementation of ideas, strategies, initiatives that will work to ensure Edith Cowan University is recognised as a leader in providing students with positive industry experiences associated with internships and other drivers of employability. The role supports the work of the Employability Team and its associated stakeholders, including industry employers, ECU students, academic and professional staff and the Student Transitions and Employability team.
**Key criteria**:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant area with relevant work experience or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
Track record in delivering against a schedule of administrative deadlines, with strong organisational skills, data management skills, personal drive and self-motivation with the ability to manage and report on multiple employability projects concurrently.
Demonstrated experience in performing employability program coordination and a keen desire to work with students, academic and professional staff and industry employers.
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to engage with students, academics and external industry/government partners in the context of internship activities and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to engage in effective and proactive work while managing a small team, working independently and working within a team.
Recent experience within the tertiary education sector and/or experience working directly with students and industry employers.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time (or part-time), fixed term (to 31 December 2025) position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 pa (pro rata for part-time) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
