Develop, monitor and review service delivery to people with severe injuries/illness to assist them to achieve optimal outcomes and maximum participation in the community.
- Undertake project work and independently manage smaller scale projects to deliver project outcomes in accordance with team objectives.
- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Fulltime position, Sydney CBD location
- Hybrid Working environment role with salary from $101K + super

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Service Development Officer** you will:

- Work as part of team to facilitate, progress and implement key projects.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, stakeholders and service providers to enhance service outcomes for participants and service development activities.
- Develop and review communications, including; information sheets, web content, and newsletters. Manage incoming & out-going communications for panels of approved providers.
- Assist with the development and implementation of procedures, specialist knowledge, guidelines, policies and service standards for the delivery of services, including care programs to ensure the appropriate provision of services to participants in a cost effective manner.
- Monitor provider performance through contract management and developing and monitoring performance expectations to ensure quality services to participants and for key projects.

**Skills & Experience**
- Knowledge and in-depth understanding of long-term injuries and their management
- Experience working on projects in health, insurance or disability sector
- Experience in working with external providers to enable service delivery for participants
- Flexibility for occasional intrastate and interstate travel and attendance at meetings and conferences, training and development events on evenings and weekends.
