We are seeking a Retail Sales and Design Consultant to join the Mondopiero small team of motivated and committed individuals.

The Retail Sales and Design Consultant position provides excellent customer experience through high-level and attentive customer service and sales assistance for both retail and commercial customers in-store and online.
- Professional sales in luxury interior goods.
- Experience providing customer service to the interior design industry.

The Retail Sales and Design Consultant position primarily provides professional retail and commercial sales. It also provides some ecommerce, marketing and administration support where required.
- a passion for design and storytelling (relevant qualification advantageous, but not essential).
- strong attention to detail and professional presentation.
- excellent communications, interpersonal and organization skills.
- proficient skills in excel and word and point of sale systems.
- strong work ethic and multi-tasker.
- exceptional customer service and sales experience with a focus on luxury interiors and design goods.

The Retail Sales and Design Consultant position is an integral role to Mondopiero’s in store and online sales presence providing a positive customer experience through high-level customer service and marketing and sales support. A key focus is increasing the commercial sales to architects and designers.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

- Process in-store and online sales including responding to customer enquiries, packaging, sending purchases and providing after-sales service as required.
- Building rapport / working with existing and new customers to achieve retail and commercial sales, particularly for the new collection of Ghidini1961 furniture, lighting and accessories.
- Providing accurate product information, specifications and quotations.
- Processing sales transactions using in-store POS including creating Client Orders/Layby, processing payments at POS/Telephone Sales.
- Maintaining accurate client information on the Mondopiero database.
- Performing basic sales administration duties.
- In-store general upkeep, cleaning and maintenance.
- Assisting with visual merchandising.
- Assisting with online platform maintenance including POS system, Shopify website platform and Mail Chimp database.
- Implementing Digital and Social Media (Facebook, Instagram) promotional activities including product posts, on-going maintenance of digital imagery in the Mondopiero format and brand, in line with digital marketing strategy.
- Opening and/ or closing the store when required including end of day finance tasks.
