Job Description
- Are you ready to make a difference while having an exciting and rewarding career? Join us at Vinnies QLD as our Fundraising Coordinator - Community & Events, where you'll be at the heart of driving our signature peer-to-peer events, third-party fundraising, and community engagement efforts._
**The Role**
As the Fundraising Coordinator - Community & Events, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and delivering key national campaigns like the Vinnies CEO Sleepout and matched giving days, while also establishing a range of state-based community fundraising initiatives. Reporting to the **Head of Fundraising**out of our **State Head Office**, you will build and nurture relationships with Vinnies CEO Sleepout participants, community groups, organisations, and third-party stakeholders.
**What You’ll Do**:
- **Engage and Inspire**: Collaborate on the planning and execution of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, including acquisition and retention campaigns, event logistics, and stakeholder relationships.
- **Lead with Impact**: Develop and implement a diversified community fundraising strategy to increase engagement in third-party fundraising.
- **Support and Coordinate**: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the success of Vinnies Community Sleepout events, including stakeholder management, fundraising support, and event logistics.
- **Build Relationships**: Manage the Vinnies QLD ‘In Memory’ giving program and deliver Matched Giving Day campaigns, nurturing relationships with funders and stakeholders.
- **Deliver Excellence**:Assist with event planning and logistics, ensuring seamless execution and providing high-quality customer service and supporter experiences.
- **Analyze and Improve**:Contribute to campaign reporting to evaluate success and identify opportunities for future campaigns.
This is a** Fixed-term Part-time Fundraising Events Coordinator Position (15 hours per week)** based in **Nambour.**
Desired Skills and Experience
**_To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria:_**
- Tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing, communications, or in a related discipline.
- 3+ years working in a related role with a strong track record of successfully managing projects and meeting targets.
- Experience working in the not-for-profit (NFP) sector, or a sound understanding of the NFP landscape.
- Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
