**About the role**:
Reporting directly to the Procurement Systems Manager, you will need to develop and achieve optimum performance of the Procurement function by providing analysis, planning, optimisation, compliance, performance reporting and operational efficiencies, through the retrieval, cleansing and analysis of data to support strategy development for sourcing and project delivery. The role will also have the need to assist in contract management performance to maximise the value of our contractual agreements with third party partners.

This role can be based out of Sydney or Adelaide.

Other responsibilities include:

- Delivery of analytics (maintenance and creation of dashboards and other tools, purchase and spend data analysis, periodic and ad-hoc stakeholder reporting, commercial advice)
- Design and production of performance reports and other procurement related management or ad-hoc reporting as required
- Analyse spend data; trends in spending to ascertain anomalies or opportunities to identify areas of potential savings and make recommendations
- Assist with category and sourcing strategy development and analytics, and provide project and initiative support
- Assist in conducting tender evaluation, analysing rates, while remaining compliant with the overall sourcing strategy
- Provide procurement analytics to support the sourcing process with the category owners to enable effective decision making and measure benefit

Skills and qualifications required:

- Tertiary qualifications in a Commerce/Business degree or similar
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or similar analytical support role
- Experience in Improvement focused roles
- Ability to condense complex analysis into concise and thoughtful presentations or reports
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy (including Power BI, Tableau, MS Office suite)
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, to prioritise competing demands and to focus on delivery of outcomes A flexible team-work approach to tasks and responsibilities
