**The Purpose**:
As the IT Procurement & Asset Analyst your core role is to manage software license entitlements and compliance, provide data-driven insights, manage supplier and contract performance, and ensures compliance with procurement policies and asset management standards. Day to day you can expect to be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, compliance and utilization of IT assets and services within AP+. This role ensures that technology resources are sourced, tracked, and maintained efficiently, supporting business objectives and maximising value from supplier relationships.

**The core accountabilities of the role will include**:

- Analyse and proactively manage business demand for IT services and assets (Hardware and Software)
- Perform risk management activities, maintaining documentation of risks and mitigation actions.
- Provide specialist advice on procurement, asset management, and vendor-related matters.
- Develop and deliver business intelligence reports to support decision-making.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
- Assist our Strategic Sourcing Manager in the preparation of RFx briefing packs and procurement documentation.
- Monitor and report on supplier and contract performance, supporting issue resolution.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to align procurement and asset strategies with business needs.

**The capabilities needed to be successful for this role are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related discipline) is preferred.
- Experience in procurement, software asset management and hardware asset management within a technology environment is essential.
- Proven experience with procurement processes, contract management, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Robust work experience in the payments technology, IT systems or the financial industry is required.
- Understanding of risk management, business intelligence, and asset lifecycle management principles.
- Proficiency in using business intelligence and asset management tools.
