We now have opportunities available for a la carte waitstaff and general waitstaff to join the team.

If you have experience as a waiter or perhaps have a passion to learn and grow in a front of house hospitality role, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include

  • Demonstrating our Culture Values - Strong Team Player, Willingness to Surprise and Delight our guests and a 'Can-Do' Attitude.
  • Greeting all customers and projecting a positive, motivated and friendly image to guests and staff
  • Assisting with all customer enquiries, or requests regarding products and services
  • Providing efficient and accurate service of food & beverage items to customers in bar areas and/or functions
  • Restaurant duties; including table preparation, food & beverage service and cleaning duties
  • Suggestive selling of menu items
  • Bar service, where required
  • Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, across a broad range of diverse cultures

Essential Criteria for La Piazza staff

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
  • Flexibility to work when required including evenings and weekends
  • Must have RSA and RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Experience working in an al a carte restaurant environment (Desirable)
