Downer has a long-standing partnership with **Logan Water**, WSP and Santec to deliver asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project delivery and organisational development services for the City of Logan. The project is a fast-paced and highly rewarding line of works.

**THE ROLE**

Due to expansion, this team have an opportunity for a Community & Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join in a full-time, permanent capacity. Based at our **Beenleigh** **location**, this role involves engaging with Councillors, Council Staff, Residents, Business Owners and Project Teams to deliver Community and Stakeholder satisfaction initiatives. This role is a combined office and field role with plenty of time required outdoors, engaging with the community.

**Key responsibilities include**
- Prepare and distribute regular communication materials on site/ field across the **Logan region **and digitally
- Visit multiple worksites, attend design and construction meetings to assess community impacts throughout project lifecycles.
- Assist with ongoing stakeholder negotiations including community access, construction impacts and site restoration.
- Update stakeholder contact database and support the administration of **Logan Water’s** photo library.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Public Relations or Marketing.
- Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects (highly regarded).
- Comfortable navigating and resolving challenging stakeholder engagement issues and complaints.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and writing ability.
- Current drivers licence.
