**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific region. As the Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for content writing, executing marketing strategies, managing industry sponsorships, events, and social media engagement. Your role will also encompass inventory management, event planning, and coordination, translations for international marketing, and general administration tasks.

**In this role, you will**:

- Develop and manage a wide range of marketing content, including editorials, press releases, social media content, blog posts, and more
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure content is aligned with marketing and brand strategy
- Take ownership of the content calendar and ensure that all deadlines are met
- Continuously monitor and analyse the effectiveness of content to optimise future marketing efforts
- Work closely with our sales team to develop content that supports their efforts and helps them achieve their goals
- Manage industry sponsorships, events, and community engagement programs
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of company merchandise
- Monitor and respond to social media engagement
- Coordinate translations for international marketing in the Asia Pacific region
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our content is innovative and fresh
- Perform other duties as required

**Here’s what you bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications, or a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, with a great focus on Content Management and PR.
- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and consistency in all written communication.
- Your writing skills will play a central role in delivering Ritchie Bros.'s message to our target audience, so you should have a passion for writing and be able to write effectively for a variety of channels and formats.
- Be self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines along with great attention to detail.
- Have the capability and versatility to contribute to brand and marketing strategy.
- Demonstrate strong experience completing projects that require coordinating with outside agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Brings a positive attitude and willingness to help team members and clients.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
