Founded in 2001, this Australian owned and operated company ensures all staff are given learning opportunities to promote teamwork and develop creative thinking making their workplace the place of choice to work and grow **Our host business offers a number of different services including**: - CCTV - Intercoms - Gate Automation - Access Control Security & Alarm - Fibre Optics & Data Installation and Ticketless parking **The apprenticeship will involve**: - Installation of wired and wireless security systems - Pre-commissioning set up wired and wireless systems - Work on both industrial and commercial premises - Routing cables through roof services and support structures - Diagnosing faults and testing systems equipment. **What will you bring to the role?** Our team will help you develop during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for: - IT Knowledge - Cert II in electrotechnology high regarded - Passion for customer service - Reliable and punctual - Enjoy manual work - Eye for detail, able to work neatly, accurately & to deadlines - White card (or willing to obtain) - Driver’s licence and own transport - Ability to think logically and process diagnostic ability - Work between Monday to Friday with occasional weekend & Night work (e.g. shutdown work) - Two work or school related references - Successful applicants will be required to pass an aptitude test, and a pre - employment medical including drug and alcohol testing. **Who We Are?** **Community Solutions **is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland.
