**As Manager you will (but not limited to)**:

- Provide authoritative, strategic, tactical, and operational advice and analysis to the Director, and Executive Director on matters relevant to the work area.
- Provide proactive management and leadership for the team through a period of renewal.
- Manage, lead, and deliver contract performance and review processes including contributing to evaluation and selection of suppliers in partnership with various business areas.
- Manage systems and strategies to ensure remedial action is taken and non-compliance issues are addressed in an appropriate manner.
- Contribute effectively to the Government's and department's priorities and reform agenda, providing leadership and management through provision of advice, information, and support.
- Actively participate in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including achievement of local service improvement and development outcomes.
- Facilitate team participation by planning, organising, and managing the team's responsibilities, including fostering a professional environment to encourage commitment, ethical behaviour, staff wellbeing, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Actively manage resources including financial, human, and physical assets in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide operational intelligence to the work of the Program Management and Strategic Investment, Coordination and Analysis branches within the directorate.
- Professionally represent the department at forums and meetings as required. Intrastate travel may be required in this position.
