Confluence Water Confluence Water - The Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

This Quality Business partner role will see you managing the Quality Function and Team for Confluence Water. As this is a ten year program of works it is likely that there will be other opportunities at the end of this contract to continue to work at the forefront of innovation in construction in Australia. **THE ROLE**
- Manage, guide and develop the Quality and Document Control team.
- A strong track record of delivering quality processes
- Proven experience in managing a quality function and team
- Proven experience implementing a quality methodology
- Ability to plan and report on quality initiatives and assurance across projects
- Understanding of Engineering and Construction
- Understanding of WHS and Environment issues
- Experience overseeing and delivering ISO Certification

**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and integrated business systems.
- Strong experience in obtaining and maintaining 3rd party quality assurance certification.
- Experience in the water business environment, or in an industrial workplace.
- Experience in water activities (process, health, organisation, legislation) would be highly desireable.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of people, engage the workforce and drive continuous improvement
- Understanding and commitment to safety, environment and quality requirements
- Mainain ISO certification for defined integrated business/quality management systems and coordinate ongoing Third Party Certifications and audit activities
