The Engineering Design Manager will be the technical design delivery lead for the design development and delivery of multiple upgrades across Queensland. These projects include civil, structural, and building services so this will require a Design Manager with experience that has included multidisciplinary projects $50m+.

The Engineering Design Manager's Key Responsibilities include:

- Lead and develop engineering, architectural design, and construction planning professionals in project based teams during the design,construction and handover phases to ensure projects designs are developed and implemented as required.
- Provide the expert infrastructure design and planning services, and ensure compliance with safety, operational & environmental legislation, regulations & practices.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, internal and external, will be a key requirement to ensure the quality and consistency of design work.

This manager will require:

- A relevant engineering qualification with CPEng.or RPEQ preferable but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a Design Manager or Design Lead role on an Australian infrastructure project of $50m+, with rail interface preferred.
- This experience should include experience leading design development and coordination across multiple projects and disciplines (civil, structural and building services).
- Also important will be experience coordinating design requirements during construction.
