Corporate Lead: Geosciences and Exploration

A consulting group growing their geological arm is currently looking for a high-energy **Corporate Lead: Geosciences and Exploration** to lead the charge with new and existing clients and help solidify the team, making this part of the business flourish.

Based in Perth with occasional client visits/travel the individual will be qualified in/responsible for:

- As Head of Exploration, you will conduct Exploration consulting work.
- Review client quality assurance procedures and quality control data, and validate drillhole and other exploration or production data.
- Plan, implement and manage exploration programmes.
- Conduct technical due diligence work on client projects.
- Write technical reports, contribute to peer review and technical editing of reports.
- Conduct Competent Person/Qualified Person site visits.
- Sign off on JORC, NI 43-101 or other related Code reports, as Competent Person or Qualified Person, in line with the requirements of those Codes and your experience
- Train and mentor junior team members and contractors; implement training and professional development programmes. Schedule all resources and workload of the ECU.
- MSc Geoscience degree or higher.
- >20 years' industry experience.
- Multi-commodity experience, including experience with most of the common mineral systems.
- Exploration, production, and consulting experience.
- Competent/Qualified Person status for at least one commodity.
- Establish baseline measurements of KPIs and determine achievable KPI standards for all direct reports.
- Carry out regular performance management
- Provide leadership to staff and contractors on assigned projects and manage the quality of their work.
