Our client, is seeking an experienced
Exploration Manager
to lead their exploration across Western Australia. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving discovery and resource growth through effective planning, execution, and management of exploration activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of regional and near-mine exploration programs
  • Manage geology teams, contractors, and consultants to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective exploration outcomes
  • Identify new exploration targets and support ongoing resource definition and development
  • Oversee data collection, geological modelling, and technical reporting
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, heritage, and safety regulations
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and provide regular updates on exploration progress and results
  • Support strategic decisions through technical input and project evaluation

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology, Geoscience or related discipline
  • Minimum 8–10 years of exploration experience, with a strong focus on gold and copper systems
  • Demonstrated success in leading exploration teams and delivering discoveries
  • Strong understanding of WA geology, permitting processes, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations as required
