**Introduction**:
Regis Resources is an ASX publicly listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team with a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. It is a purely Australian gold miner with operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The current mine site locations are in the WA Goldfields region with multiple mining operations (both open pit and underground) as well as a number of satellite pits. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team, working collaboratively towards a future production profile of up to half a million oz. of gold annually.

**Description**:
The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Exploration Manager, who will be responsible for managing the generation and conducting of exploration activities across the company’s projects.

Reporting to the General Manager - Growth, this role is based in our Subiaco corporate office with expectations of regular travel to the Duketon operations and McPhillamys, NSW.

About the Role

Managing allocated exploration resources;
Leading a large sized team of Senior / Exploration Geoscientists & Field Technicians;
Developing strategic exploration plans for existing and new acreage;
Developing and managing exploration budgets;
Identifying initial and advanced exploration targets;
Supervising and controlling drilling / exploration programs;
Contractor management and managing join venture relationships;
Interfacing with the production and development teams to evaluate and implement value adding opportunities;
Overseeing the training and career development of the Geoscience team;
Keeping up to date with new and emerging technologies; and
Ensuring personnel are competent in their roles by overseeing training and mentoring programs.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

Degree qualified - Geology or Geoscience;
Significant demonstrated experience in a similar geology leadership role;
Mine geology exposure including brownfields exploration experience is desirable;
Some formal training in management and ore reserves and mineral economics is desirable;
Presentation and communication skills;
Geological software competence;
Current WA class C manual drivers’ licence;
Hold a nationally recognised 2-day 4WD course certification; and
Senior First Aid certified.
