Quality & Operational Excellence Manager

In this role you will improve and implement all processes within the value chain to increase profitability and improve customer satisfaction across the business.

Duties include:

- Support local deployment of Quality and Operational Excellence strategies in line with Hitachi’s Quality and Operational Excellence strategy portfolio to improve business across the entire value chain
- Fulfill the quality requirements of the High Voltage manufactured components, products and materials by defining certain standards, activities and processes.
- Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner and of the highest standard/quality
- Drive a culture of excellence in operational performance by developing group-wide best practice frameworks across the business unit function
- Address Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental practices and ensure there is an effective management system to uphold a zero-harm culture.

To be successful you will have an Engineering Degree or equivalent and a minimum 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Other qualities we are looking for:

- Experience in an accounting/finance position
- Computer literacy with MS Suite
- Ability to coordinate stakeholder engagement in diverse functional areas
- Ability to communicate effectively with business unit functions to ensure standards are upheld
