**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Teacher to deliver the Diploma of Conservation & Ecosystem Management. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity based at our Lilydale Campus.

The Teacher - Conservation & Ecosystem Management provides high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to local students to:

- support student success in the Diploma of Conservation & Ecosystem Management course and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways
- ensure BHI compliance requirements are met.

The Teacher - Conservation & Ecosystem Management is a position in the Land Sciences area of the Faculty of Creative, Business and Technology. Success in the position will result in a high performing and engaged team, student achievement and improved education and employment outcomes, compliance and quality education and the development of opportunities to grow market share.

**About You**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/22) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education
- Relevant industry qualifications in conservation, ecology, natural resource management or similar at Diploma level, or higher.
- Current and sound experience in the relevant field
- Experience with student management systems for attendance tracking, retrieval of student details where required, and resulting
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver logical, succinct, up-to-date and engaging course materials and lessons. Demonstrated proficiency in using learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students
- Ability to develop a range of complex documents that comply with all relevant quality standards, including unit plans and assessment tools
- High level awareness of, and responsiveness to, people from a broad range of diverse backgrounds and emotional contexts
