**Introduction**:
Regis Resources is an ASX-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The current mine site locations are in the WA Goldfields region with multiple mining operations (both open pit and underground) as well as a number of satellite pits. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team, working collaboratively towards a future production profile of up to half a million oz. of gold annually.

**Description**:
The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Safety Advisor to support our Duketon Gold operations. Reporting to the Safety Superintendent, you will ensure the safety and health of employees through the delivery of professional safety services. Also, you will actively promote and implement the site safety management system (SMS) in conjunction with the timely delivery of all safety related requests / matters.

As a key member of our Safety team, you will engage with all levels of employees (including contractors) across our site operations. You will also contribute and support Regis Resources’ Health & Safety (H&S) strategy and plan-on-a page objectives for the safety portfolio. This is a FIFO role, 8:6 roster.

About the Role

Maintain the company’s safety systems;
Assist in developing, preparing and responding to safety requirements;
Plan and participate in HIF Audits, weekly and monthly inspections;
Plan, organise and undertake OHS training as required;
Participate in toolbox, Pre-start and safety committee meetings;
Prepare data and report on safety performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement;
Prepare Safety Alerts and other safety related communications;
Support and train others (where required) in the site safety database system;
Assist in facilitating event investigations (ICAMs), risk review workshops and Safety Circles;
Undertake Time in Field (TIF) interactions, verifications, audits & inspections; and
Any other safety support advisory services, as required.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

As a minimum, hold a Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety (or similar);
Demonstrated industry experience in a similar role;
Ability to work independently and broadly as a part of the H&S team;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Discretion and respect for confidentiality and privacy;
Manual WA drivers licence; and
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
