**Pacific Energy Pty Ltd (formerly Contract Power and KPS)** is a leading energy specialist servicing mining companies and townships for over 40 years using multiple fuel technologies that include and integrate gas, diesel, wind, solar and battery storage.

As Australia’s largest remote power station constructor and operator,
**Pacific Energy's** in-house capabilities incorporate designing, building, owning, and operating mission-critical remote power facilities under a full turnkey service model.

Due to continued growth, Pacific Energy is seeking to employ a
**Safety Advisor** who will work closely with the Site Management, HSEQ Manager and other Stakeholders to facilitate development health, safety, ensuring compliance Contract Power.

The Safety Advisor is responsible for the delivery of initiatives that improve safety outcomes in the workplace, including the facilitation of combined systems during integration activities.

The role of HSE Advisor will see you working a 21:7 FIFO roster, reporting to the site Project Manager and responsible for providing HSE advice and support to the project team.

**About the role**:

- Assist with project procedural compliance
- Inspect & assess working areas and convoys for the presence of safety hazards and non-compliance
- Complete & close out incident investigations
- Provide general safety support & training when required
- Ensure compliance is maintained with safety documents

**About you**:

- Certificate IV qualification in WHS
- Minimum 3 years Construction projects experience
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment preferred
- Applied First Aid Certificate
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards
- Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
- A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Proof of right to work in Australia
