In this newly created role for a Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor you will be supported to deliver optimal HSEQ solutions within the Ventura Group.

Based at our Head Office in Dandenong and reporting to the Health Safety Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Manager you will being responsible for the implementation and management of Ventura’s Injury management, early intervention and prevention functions.

**Key Duties of this Role include**:

- Coordinate the management of workplace injuries and workers compensation claims by collaborating with the injured worker, site management, treating practitioners, the external rehabilitation provider, and the Company insurers.
- Facilitate return to work programs for employees and provide advice on injury, health and medical matters to operations personnel and management.
- Communicate with medical and allied health providers to develop and implement return to work programs and plans for workplace injuries.
- Involvement in health & safety projects to develop and implement pro-active injury management and rehabilitation strategies alongside relevant internal/external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Review medical reports to assess workers' fitness for work capacity in accordance with the requirements of their job role using a risk-based approach.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records/files of injury management activities and complete reporting for internal and external requirements as needed.
- Provide effective case management strategies for injured workers.
- Provision of education to our leaders regarding early intervention injury response/management processes and ongoing claims management strategy
- Ongoing review and analysis of injury/claims trends to identify initiatives / projects to manage risk with the wider business
- Attendance at depots when required to support injured workers return to work
- Assist managers and employees to ensure they understand their obligations and responsibilities regarding WorkCover and return to work arrangements.

**Education and Experience**
- Allied health tertiary qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist (or similar) with accreditation preferred
- Return to Work Coordination qualification (formal)
- In depth and demonstratable experience in early intervention / injury management / case management experience in the Workers Compensation industry
- Key to success will be time management, excellent communication and influencing skills and passion for achieving return to work objectives
- Required to be well organised with an ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to achieve outcomes
- Experience utilising Solv (Injury Management System) and exposure to payroll systems desirable
