This role is a great opportunity for a motivated & passionate person to join the People & Culture team and make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our valued team members.

Reporting to the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager, the Safety Coordinator will be responsible for providing information and strategies to assist our team with maintaining a safe working environment.

Key deliverables include;
- Manage the safety reporting platform including, reporting and analysis of incidents and overseeing injury management
- Act as liaison for state Worksafe Authorities
- Coordinate and/or conduct risk assessments where required and communicating legislation and standard changes
- Conduct Safety compliance training and provide a consultancy service to Line Managers to assist in maintenance of SWP centre of expertise
- Assist in the annual review and governance of Baby Bunting’s Safety Management System
- Ensure policies, procedures and work instructions are in line with current legislation and standards, with a focus on continuous business improvement.
- Ensure Workplace inspections compliance across all sites

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to prepare and present training sessions
- Familiarity with Safety auditing and reporting systems
- Experience in injury management, rehabilitation and return to work processes.
- Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice
- Knowledge of Hazard Management principles
- Knowledge of safety issues in the retail industry, highly desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
