Seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join a prestigious and highly regarded Private Education Institute. Reporting to Events Manager, you will be responsible for organising and managing all events related to the College & alumni and building strong relationships with them.
You will be working closely with school administration, faculty, staff, and committees to plan, coordinate, and execute events that promote and celebrate the school's heritage and legacy. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaison with key stakeholders at The College to determine the internal events that are to take place
- Produce a detailed proposals for internal events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets
- Resource planning allocation and prioritisation of internal internal events
- Prepare high quality written communication materials for the internal events in line with The College brand
- Post-internal events evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for
internal events stakeholders)
- Establish and maintain relationships with alumni: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the school's alumni community by actively communicating with them, sharing updates on school events and news, and collaborating on events and projects.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students: Work closely with school administration, faculty, staff, and student groups to plan, coordinate, and execute events that showcase the school's heritage and legacy.
- Maintain alumni database: Keep the school's alumni database up-to-date and accurate, including contact information, class lists, and other relevant data.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or corporate Event management field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and/or alumni relations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working in a private school or higher education environment is preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to support events.
- Successful employees will be required to undergo Pre-employment checks (2 reference, Police Check and Working With Children's Check)
